Speaking of Utapri, Utapri's character designer, Chinatsu Kurahana, also did the designs for Samurai Flamenco's characters.

Sadly, the show's animation looks so cheap at times that it doesn't do justice to her designs. Also, if you are following it, I believe that its recent plot developments have surpassed the craziness of Valvrave an Kill la Kill to acheive new heights of random, off-the-rails absurdity.

Huh, I did not know that. I dropped Samurai Flamenco two episodes in because it wasn't wasn't doing much for me though.
