This moment accurately summarizes my experience with Tiger & Bunny, being simultaneously awesome and fall-out-of-your-chair laughable.
The stage is set. Kotetsu is fighting his partner Barnaby, who has been brainwashed into thinking that Tiger is a criminal. Despite Kotetsu's best efforts, he cannot make Baranby's memory come back. As Barnaby jumps into the air for the final blow, Kotetsu mutters under his breath "I guess this is the end... Bunny-chan." Screen goes to black. There is no sound effect for the impact, or rather, for any impact whatsoever. Kotetsu opens his eyes to see Baranby in front of him, saying, "My name is not Bunny-chan. It's Barnaby." Not even a second ago, he'd been hurtling at Kotetsu with the intent to kill him. Somehow, he heard that comment, managed to stop his own momentum, and landed silently with the sole intent to correct Kotetsu. HE HATES HIS NICKNAME SO MUCH THAT HE BROKE THE LAWS OF PHYSICS. This show, man. This show. I love it so much.
