Misunderstandings abound in this episode, as the staff makes the leap from "exposed love triangle" to "Tohru is going to work at the rival inn" all too quickly. The erotic novelist has always annoyed me, but Minko annoyed me in this episode as well. Stop calling people names and say clearly how you feel, sheesh!

Here's an idea. How about you actually write that instead of saying things that aren't true?
If it bothers you that much, then tell him how you feel. -_-
I can't wait to see this festival. With the visuals that the series has brought so far, it should be beautiful.
This scene was funny as well as interesting; it really shows the difference between her and Ohana, despite their similar situations.
So all of you will stop listening to the ero writer now, right?
Finally texting him back. :D
I'm pretty convinced that Tohru likes Ohana, with the way he constantly teases her. Minko needs to make a move quickly, if she's ever going to.
Seeing the magazine makes me wonder if he's planning a trip to visit Ohana, despite the long radio silence between them.
Thoughts
Overall, this episode showed that Minko is not the character that I thought that she was. I thought that he dislike of Ohana had to do with her naivete, not a stereotypical tsundere cover-up of her real feelings. I'm now hoping that the show will take the realistic approach and Minko's behavior will make Tohru not consider her as a love interest and turn to Ohana instead (I'm still rooting for Ko, however). But despite my dislike of Minko as well as the fail novelist, I'm glad that the misunderstanding was resolved within this episode and not dragged out over the next couple of episodes, which probably would have been easy for the writers of the show to do. It's still walking a thin line between drama and soap opera, however, since with the events of this episode I'm wondering if it will continue to go with the "misunderstanding due to lack of context/feelings of love/stupidity" story arcs since there is a lot of potential for love triangles and rivalries. As long as it doesn't go too over the top, I'm all for it.
