Continuing where the last episode left off, Ohana manages to find Tohru and give all of the guests a memorable stay. But on the romance side of the episode, poor Ko-chan didn't get to see her at all...

I guess he wasn't behind Door #1 after all.
I'm not exactly sure why they were being so stingy. They could have checked it themselves and told her if there was someone with that name on the list.
Meanwhile, the cooking is not going as planned.
There isn't an emergency contact number?
:C
She's had that reaction both times he's called. I wonder if it'll become a habit.
Busy is an understatement.
Well, at least he knows that her and Tohru are just co-workers.
The best friends that you can have are those that can call at anytime and always make your day brighter.
You told her that you liked her, why can't you tell her that you're coming to see her?
Even though he's disappointed, he still wants to cheer her up. What a nice guy.
The notebook is already coming in handy.
New tactic: ask more personal questions.
Tohru's reaction faces crack me up.
And the shippers go wild!
I don't think he meant for you to take his statement so seriously, but hey.
She's that loud even though it's not on speaker?
That was a rather silly question, Ko.
Hopefully after this episode we won't be seeing her for a while.
The Engrish is spreading.
I think he should have gone anyway, if just to say hi.
So close, yet so far away.
It wasn't until this scene that I realized how much Ren relies on Tohru.
Things are getting back to normal.
All the good employees are doing it.
Somebody's been taking glaring lessons from the head waitress.
I liked this scene, showing that the difference between "special treatment" and the norm wasn't really that different.
If nothing else, Minko is slowly becoming the cook she wants to be.
Ohana has discovered the joys of shipping.
Not anymore.
That was the sound of the point going right over her head.
Looks like we've found the real mystery guests.
D: Hopefully he'll get another chance to see her soon?
Is the love square about to turn into a love pentagon? ...I'm going to need a relationship chart pretty soon.
A well-deserved welcome home.
Thoughts: Like I said in the last episode post, this is a great example of what the show can achieve when it relies on what it has already established and doesn't pander to the otaku database. If the rest of the show manages to stay at this level of storytelling and not lapse back into ridiculousness like it did a couple episodes ago, then I will have few complaints going forward. I am a little bit curious about how the inn ranked, but this episode was more about the staff working as a team and relying on each other rather than just worrying about rankings. So, as of right now, I'm happy enjoying the plot and the characters.
