Subdued Fangirling's Top 10 Anime of 2015!

Happy New Year everyone! I’ve been spending my winter break playing video games and taking a rest before I have to jump back into work next Monday, but I can’t let the year end without sharing my favorite anime series from this past year! These are presented in no particular order other than numbering, but I do have an all-time favorite show of 2015!

I hope that everyone is having an excellent New Year’s Eve or New Year depending on your timezone! Here’s to another year of great anime!

12 Days of Anime Teachers--#2: Taki

Taki-sensei just wants to make music. Taki-sensei did not sign up for all this teenage drama.

Secret Santa Project Review: Moyashimon

This year marks the first time I’ve been able to participate in Reverse Thieves’ Secret Santa Project! I was aware of it even before I started blogging, but my schedule always got so busy around this time that I wasn’t able to take part until now.

I received some excellent recommendations from my Secret Santa—all of which I’ll likely watch at some point—but since I only had time for one, I picked the show that I’ve been meaning to watch for years—Moyashimon!

A fair warning: this one is a little depressing.

12 Days of Anime Teachers--#12: Shining Saotome

Uta no Prince-sama Season 3 Shining Saotome Screencap 1

Happy Holidays everyone! Once again, this year I’m participating in the 12 Days of Anime blogging project! I’ve participated every year the blog has been active, and it’s a tradition that I like to keep up!

But this year, I’m doing something a little different. As some of you know, I was absent for a lot of this past year because I was finishing up school to get my teaching credential. I’m an official teacher now! …Well, I don’t have a full -time job just yet, but I have the ability to get one! And with that shift in my life I noticed that my focus was starting to shift towards teacher characters in anime, or at least teachable moments. So for this year’s 12 Days of Anime, I present to you 12 Days of Anime Teachers! These posts are in no particular order (it’s really just the order that I finish them in), but I hope that you enjoy my choices all the same!

So, without further ado, let’s get started!

I would say that Jean has the wrong idea, but maybe that kind of mindset is what someone needs to become a politician…
