In its final season, Working!!! realizes that it’s time to wrap things up.
Just about every character arc or subplot is resolved in this season—or at least, the subplots that I could remember, since as I mentioned in my first episode post, it’s been a while since I watched this show. Still, it was satisfying to see characters confessing their crushes, Otoo-san reunite with his wife, and find out the reason why Yamada ran away from home. Everything is wrapped up in a nice neat package—
—Except for Takanashi and Inami’s relationship. Apparently we’re getting an hour-long special to wrap all of that up. I hope it really is JRPG themed the whole time.
In any case, I’m glad that Working!!! provided a stopping point for these characters. Thanks for the laughs and the ships, Working!!!. It was fun.
