Happy season finale week everyone! I think that this summer's anime season turned out pretty well--the last episode of School-Live even made me cry!
It's also another good week for links! This time, we're finishing up the summer with localization news, an amazing stop-motion video, jaw-dropping cosplay from TGS, and more!
Attack on Titan Junior High Will Have Live-Action Segments Featuring the VAs! Crunchyroll calls this "weird," I call it "amazing!"
Incredible Cosplay of Raiden from the Metal Gear Solid Series at the Tokyo Game Show! Can anyone say "cosplay goals"?
Director of Wake Up Girls, Fractale Tell Aspiring Animators "Don't Do It." This is coming from the guy who's the source of the "saving anime" meme and insisted he would quit if his shows weren't a hit, so it might be best to assume his comments are coming from a bruised ego.
Comics Alliance Questions Why Major Comics News Outlets Don't Talk About Manga. This is a great read on the self-imposed "divide" between manga and western comics, and what we can do as fans to fix this problem!
Saban Localizes Smile Precure as Glitter Force! Here's hoping that this will bring more Precure titles to the West!
Muv Luv Visual Novel Kickstarter For Western Release Funded in Six Hours! I don't know too much about this series, but after seeing the response this Kickstarter has received I'm kind of curious now!
Watch This Awesome Attack on Titan Fan Video that Pits Mikasa Against Godzilla! This video is a great example of the versatility of figures! I saw some Figmas, a Bearguy playing a key role, and it looks like the version of Mikasa they went with was the RAH release!
My Anime Power Ranking List for the end of the season:
1) School-Live
2) My Love Story
3) Gatchaman Crowds Insight
4) Classroom Crisis
5) Snow White with the Red Hair
Is there a story that I missed out on? Mention it in the comments below! See you next week!
