Winter WonFes 2013 Wrap-Up

I'm going to be doing something a little different this month, since two weeks ago the first of the bi-annual figure exposition known as Wonder Festival (WonFes for short) took place in Japan. WonFes is a big deal for companies and collectors alike, since they provide a golden opportunity to show off new figure prototypes and give announcements for upcoming figures! I've covered some of my favorites in the list below, but many more items and pictures can be found on MFC.

Chihayafuru 2 Episode 7--Nationals is a Family Affair

Muse: I was expecting this episode to jump right into the Nationals the way that the first season did, but instead we got a “calm before the storm” episode.

Muse: While last week was Taichi central, this week splits its focus between a lot of different characters, as this show often does during final matches. However, this time around, the tension is based purely around character conflicts and pride, since both schools are guaranteed a spot at the national tournament.
